Leader:

How many people are in your family?

How many friends and classmates do you have?

What about teachers?

Or how about neighbors?

All of those are called relationships.

Because we’re related and somehow connected to each other!

Leader:

Did you know God has relationships too?

God’s family includes people like you and me,

and all the people we read about in the Bible.

And the best part? We’re connected to God because of Jesus.

Leader:

Where do we learn about Jesus?

Answer:

From the Bible!

Leader:

Exactly! Now, here’s a fun question:

How much of the Bible talks about Jesus?

Answer:

  • In the Old Testament, God gave promises like clues that Jesus was coming. Those promises are called prophecies.

  • In the New Testament, almost every page—100%—is about Jesus!

Leader:

Imagine if your life was written down in a book.

How many pages would talk about Jesus?

Answers:

“Some!” “A lot!” “Hopefully all!”

Leader:

As we grow closer to Jesus, sometimes people might ask us questions like:

“Do you go to church?” or “Where is your God?”

What should we do when people ask about our relationship with God?

Answers:

Invite them into the conversation!

Tell them about Jesus!

Bring them to church!

Because guess what?

We are the church.

So, when we say, "Let's go to church,"

we are saying, "Let's go to the people of God."

Leader:

Now, Jesus also said that life won’t always be easy.

Sometimes we’ll face hard times.

What happens when we suffer or feel scared?

Answers:

We pray. We listen. We care for each other.

Leader:

Here’s the Good News:

Jesus says we don’t have to be afraid.

He will give us the words we need to share His love.

And God’s love isn’t just for us—it’s for everyone.

So when we keep trusting Jesus and sharing His love, what happens?

Answer:

More people will know Him!

Heaven will be full of life and joy.

And thanks be to God!
