Children’s Message
Luke 20:27-38

Hey friends!
I want to tell you about a time someone asked Jesus a tricky question.
They said, “Jesus, what if a woman had seven husbands—who would she be married to in heaven?”
They were trying to trap Jesus with a confusing question. But Jesus didn’t fall for it. He reminded them that God sees things differently than we do.
Now let’s think about something: We all have lots of people in our lives, our family, our friends, our teachers, even people we wave to at the store.
That’s called relationships. It means we’re connected!
Sometimes, we put little labels on people. Like: “This is my best friend.” “That person is nice.” “That person is hard to talk to.”
And sometimes, we draw lines in our minds. Like: “I’ll play with this person, but not that one.” “I’ll sit by her, but not him.”
But here’s something amazing: God doesn’t use labels or lines. God sees every person with love. God sees each of us as special and precious. And through Jesus, we can learn to see others that way too.
So every time you’re kind to someone, or include someone new, or forgive someone who hurt you, that’s a witness moment.
That means you’re showing the world what God’s love looks like.
Let’s ask God to help us see like Jesus sees.
Repeat-After-Me Prayer
Dear God,
Help us see others with Your love.
Remove the labels we place on ourselves.
Take away the lines we draw.
Teach us to love like Jesus.
Let our hearts be a witness to You.
Amen.
