The 4th Week of Easter, Year A
Scriptures: Psalm 23; John 10:1-10; Acts 2:42-47; 1 Peter 2:19-25.
Key verse: “I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture.” (John 10:9)

Questions to ponder:
1. What’s your understanding of Jesus being the gate to an abundant life in John 10:10? And what could have been the meaning and purpose of that image used by Jesus?
2. Where do you see the signs of Jesus' resurrection in our everyday life? What are their connections with the abundant life that Jesus promised to his believers?
3. We have received the gift of life by grace through faith. How has the resurrection propelled and moved you to share the abundant life with those in need?
Prayer: God of the abundant life, may we see a gate to an abundant life wherever we are as we see you in all creations that are meant for us to concern and to steward out of your love for all. May you help us hear the cry of the lost and the wounded and guide us to accompany them and support them so that an abundant life from you may be affirmed and proclaimed through all we say and do. Amen.
