Let’s remember what we learned last time:

Remember the gift you got.

We are loved by God.

🤝 (Touch a neighbor’s shoulder or wave)  

So be kind to each other.

And be YOU.

📖 The Story of Noah🌈

At a time, people forgot about God’s love.

They stopped being kind to each other.

They stopped being the person God created them to be - - to be GOOD.

So God decided to wash the world clean, so that creation could be GOOD again.

But there was one person who trusted God very much.

His name was Noah.

God told Noah and his family to build a huge boat.

We call it the ARK.

They gathered many pairs of animals:

big ones, small ones, loud ones, quiet ones.

When the ARK was ready,

and the family and all the animals were inside…

It began to rain.

🔁 Call and Response with Gestures

Let’s say it together.

When I say:

“God promised…” 👉 (Point up)  

You say:

“Noah trusted!” 🤲 (Hand over heart)

🌧️ It rained for 10 days. The rain didn’t stop.

God promised… 👉

Kids: Noah trusted! 🤲

🌧️ It rained for 10 more days. The rain didn’t stop.

God promised… 👉

Kids: Noah trusted! 🤲

🌧️ It rained for 10 more days. The rain still didn’t stop.

God promised… 👉

Kids: Noah trusted! 🤲

🌧️ It rained for another 10 days.

God promised… 👉

Kids: Noah trusted! 🤲

🌬️ The wind blew away the water:

once, twice, three times, and one more time.

The land began to dry.

God promised… 👉

Kids: Noah trusted! 🤲

🕊️ Noah sent a bird. It didn’t come back.

God promised… 👉

Kids: Noah trusted! 🤲

🕊️ Noah sent another bird. It came back with a leaf. It was time to get off the Ark. God promised… 👉

Kids: Noah trusted! 🤲

🌈 Then the family and all the animals stepped out into the fresh world.

They saw a beautiful rainbow stretching across the sky.

And God said to Noah:

“Whenever you see a rainbow, remember my promise to you. I love you.”
